Chapters, not seasons.

ZEMA started in 2014 as a way of making a few things properly instead of many things quickly. That has not changed. Each release is a chapter: a small set of designs that belong to one idea, made in a fixed number, and never made again.

Chapter 1 is five designs and fifty pieces. One Small and one Medium of each. Two of every size above. When a size is claimed it is gone, and the ledger on the front page says so in plain numbers. We would rather you miss a piece than own something everyone else has.

The garments are heavyweight, washed, and cut oversized so the print sits where it was drawn to sit. The artwork is built for the back as much as the front. Every piece leaves with a gift that is not sold on its own.
